Structural Engineering
Structural Engineering has provided the strong base upon which our company was founded. Our Structural Engineering staff is experienced in the analysis, design, drafting, and inspection of bridges, culverts, and retaining walls; and is regularly involved in every phase of design, from conception through construction.
Transportation Engineering
Our Transportation Engineering division possesses a variety of capabilities and a vast amount of experience gained through a wide spectrum of projects.
The Transportation Department's
experience includes Phase I and Phase II roadway designs, independent QA/QC reviews, Phase III Construction Inspections, and preparation of various technical reports and studies.
Hydraulic Engineering, Surveys, and Construction Inspection
The Hydraulic Engineering group is experienced in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis for transportation related projects. Our staff is knowledgeable in the hydraulic modeling and design of ditches, culverts, storm sewers, and bridges; including multiple opening analysis and scour computations. Projects frequently include preparation of Location Drainage Studies, Hydraulic Reports, and Phase II PS&E plans. Our staff is also experienced in stormwater detention analysis, detention structure design, and floodway encroachment compensation analyses for floodway permit submittals.
The Surveys Department provides essential services required throughout the life of a project. Our seasoned Surveys staff is experienced in performing land and route surveys; including hydraulic surveys, construction layout, and staking.
Our certified Construction Inspection staff has provided construction inspection services for an assortment of transportation-related projects. Our inspectors are experienced in the documentation of contract quantities, as well as the inspection and testing of HMA and PCC mixtures.
